Introduction We all go through different routes as we begin the process of applying that job as a house officer in Malaysia. This few sheets of paper will serve as a guide to those who chooses to follow mine. Bearing in mind that you are also a JPA scholar and have went for the SPA interview. If everything goes smoothly, you can have this done and over with in less than 90 minutes. Thus avoiding all the headache and frustration that I had to go through. 2. Since Putrajaya operates a park and ride system, I can guarantee you that it would be difficult to find a proper parking space there. The idea is for you to park at an allocated space and then uses the public transportation available to get to the complex. You will then get a temporary registration letter in the same hour mentioning that you have registered with MMC, while they process your application. What to expect next. a) Once you receive your ‘surat perlantikan’ from SPA, you are to send one copy out of the three reply forms, saying that you agree to take up the post within one month of the dated letter. This is to be done even though you haven’t received an allocation letter from KKM. I was told that you can do the medical check-up at the hospital you’ll be working in. I however have done it privately. b) Some sort of information regarding induction week. c) Your allocated hospital information. Hope this helps. Part II will consist of what happens once I get (b) and (c) or any other additional letters. That is if I have time to write it up.
