Universidad de Cordoba. ´ INTERPOLACION ´ El uso o consulta de datos num´ericos tabulados es una actividad muy frecuente en F´ısica. Sin embargo, en las tablas solo figuran los valores para algunos puntos definidos. Si se necesita conocer el valor de la variable en un punto intermedio ´ cuya teor´ıa puede encontrarse en cualquier libro de entre dos valores conocidos es necesario hacer una interpolaci on, ´ Algebra. Resumimos aqu´ı las formulas b´asicas para calcular dicho valor en tablas de entrada simple y de doble entrada, ´ del error cometido. as´ı como una estimacion ´ de otra es decir y = f (x). Se identifican Tablas de simple entrada: Son aquellas en las cuales una variable es funci on ´ por tener el aspecto de dos columnas o dos filas superpuestas de n umeros. Lo normal es que nuestro valor (x) est´e situado entre dos tabulados. Entonces procederemos construyendo el siguiente cuadro: x1 x2 y1 y2 ´ donde x1 y x2 son los valores inmediatos menor y mayor que x. La formula a aplicar es: y = y1 + y2 − y 1 (x − x1 ). x2 − x 1 Por otra parte, el error de y viene dado por: ¯ ¯ ¯ y2 − y 1 ¯ ¯ ¯ ²x ²y = ¯ x2 − x 1 ¯ ´ de dos y = f (x, z). Presentan la Tablas de doble entrada. Son aquellas en las la variable dependiente (y) es funci on ´ forma de un cuadro con filas y columnas de numeros.
