Explanation of the release descriptions For more information about the specified releases, the release strategy and technical prerequisites, see Note 443311. 3. Usage restriction for Release 1.10 Keep in mind that the Flexible Real Estate Management in Financials Extension Set 1.10 for SAP R/3 Enterprise is no longer released. This is due to the limited functional scope of this version and the basic changes of the user interfaces for subsequent releases, which would require additional training. Therefore, Flexible Real Estate Management in Financials Extension Set 1.10 for SAP R/3 Enterprise is not suitable for implementation and we no longer maintain it. 4. Functional scope of Flexible Real Estate in SAP R/3 Enterprise Financials Extension Set 2.00 This release contains the following functions: a) Usage view In the usage view, you display the objects for the business usage of your real estate. These include business entities, buildings, properties and rental objects. Rental objects can be classic rental units, pooled spaces or rental spaces with reference to a pooled space. b) Contract management With the real estate contract, you can manage all contracts of Real Estate Management, including lease-in contracts, lease-out contracts and general customer or vendor contracts. You can assign any number of rental objects from different business entities and buildings to a real estate contract. In addition, you can define ("cut") rental spaces with reference to a pooled space when you create a contract. The real estate contract also enables you to monitor tasks with the reminders function. c) Rental accounting As in Classic Real Estate, you can create a cash flow from the conditions defined in the contract, which you can use to trigger postings in SAP Financial Accounting (FI).
