Other Terms PP/DS Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling PPDS PP/DS for SAP S/4HANA Reason and Prerequisites With Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA 1709, some restrictions apply to the productive use of certain functions in the area of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS). SAP wishes to inform customers of these restrictions and provide some recommendations here. Solution Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) for SAP S/4HANA is not a legal successor of the PP/DS component from the SAP SCM Server. Data migration and customer code migration from PP/DS component from the SAP SCM Server is not supported by the standard solution. Basic manual settings needed to set up PP/DS Set up integrated liveCache and the relevant operational jobs by following the SAP S/4HANA installation and operations guide.
