As it sounds, the task to understand a company from top to bottom is not that easy as we think in the initial look. Organizational study refers to understanding the various functions that are being carried out in the organization. It is connected with four aspects such as knowledge acquisition, information distribution, information interpretation and managing the organization by using the right information. Organizational study, comprise of the ordered study and careful application of knowledge about how people act within organizations. Organizational study includes the following disciplines: industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behaviour, human resources and management. Its proven that a person can be productive if and only if he has the right knowledge about the organization he works in, it’s vision &mission, policies, norms, strategies, culture etc are to be well understood. This signifies the relevance of an organization study in this highly competitive world scenario. The major objective of the study is to understand about various department functions during a particular period and the concept of organization. It also enables us to explore issues and problems in an organization, give suggestions to sort these issues that would help the future managers to face the challenges ahead.
