KSSR DAILY LESSON PLAN YEAR 3Class: 3 Amanah Focus: Listening and Speaking Skills Theme: World of Knowledge Topic: People around Me Level: Mixed ability 7.45 – 8.45 a.m. Time: Duration: 60 minutes Enrolment: 30 Introduction: This lesson focuses on listening and speaking skills. The activities give chances to pupils to improve their listening and speaking ability. Teacher’s role is to facilitate pupils towards an effective lesson. Other skills such as reading and writing are integrated in this lesson. Focused Skills Content Standard(s): 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation. 1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes. 3 Able to listen to. social awareness .2.Learning Standard(s): 1. tongue twisters and sing songs paying attention to pronunciation.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling.1. pupils will be able to form letters and words in neat legible print including cursive writing. rhythm and intonation. 3. 1.2.1. 3.4 Able to read and understand a paragraph with simple and compound sentences.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling. pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning. Learning Standard(s): 2. self-confidence.1 Able to write in neat legible print with correct spelling : (b) simple sentences Objective(s): By the end of the lesson. listen and list down eight occupations based on the song lyrics 2. pupils should be able to: 1. say aloud and recite rhymes.1 Able to participate in daily conversations: (e) talk about oneself Integrated Skills Content Standard(s): 2. listen and write down a short passage read by the teacher with minor errors 3. identify things and information related to the occupations Moral Value(s): Teamwork.
