Republic of the PhilippinesDivision of Palawan Region IV-B MIMAROPA CORON SCHOOL OF FISHERIES Coron, Palawan Fourth Quarterly Report in Internet and Computing Fundamentals (ICF) SY: 2015 - 2016 Introduction The Internet and Computing Fundamentals 1 module consists of seven learning outcomes. It includes the knowledge and skills required to identify different types of computers, the components of a personal computer (including internal components such as microprocessors) and how these components work together. The domain also includes the knowledge and skills relating to computer storage as it applies to hardware components like floppy and hard disks and performance as it applies to processor speed and memory. It also includes the knowledge and skills required to identify how software works, software categories such as operating systems, applications and utilities, popular products in each category, and which application is best suited for a specific purpose. The Internet and Computing Fundamentals II consist of two units, the first units discuss during first and second quarter is about using Microsoft Word. This unit includes the knowledge and skills required to perform functions specific to creating documents with a word. Elements include paragraph formatting (including line spacing, indenting and creating bulleted or numbered lists), document formatting (including headers and footers), applying styles and other automatic formatting options, creating tables, applying borders and shading to text and tables, and inserting graphics into document. While on third and fourth quarter the topic is all about using Microsoft Excel. On this unit includes the knowledge and skills required to analyze information in an electronic worksheet and to format information using functions specific to spreadsheet formatting. Elements include the ability to use formulas and functions, sort data, modify the structure of an electronic worksheet, and edit and format data in worksheet cells. Elements also include the ability to display information graphically using charts, and to analyze worksheet data as it appears in tables or graphs. Methodology a. Group discussion b. Lecture c.
