Assumption: 1500 MVA @ 33 KV supply, Calculated at secondary side 6.6 KV 240 MVA (Minimum) Protection Relay voltage shall be considered 110 VDC and auxiliary supply shall be considered 230 VAC through UPS. Batteries with Battery charging Panel shall be considered for 110 VDC. HT cable with earthing shall be considered with heat shrinkable type HT cable termination kit (Raychem Make). VCB HT Panel (Incomer & Outgoing) shall be indoor type with relay protection panel. It contains numerical relay ( In Siemens 7SJ641 & In ABB REF541 )for over current and earth fault ,Phase reveres, Trip circuit supervision etc and Transformer protection ( In Siemens 7UT & In ABB RET 541 ) suitable communicate with DCS through Modbus. Analogue voltmeter/ammeter and Electronic counter type KWh meter considered for Physical Indicator. Smart demand controller EM3460 shall be considered for Energy Management and shall be suitable to communicate with DCS through Modbus. . Annunciation system shall be considered Audio/Video indication. position mimic on panel etc. (Make: - Siemens/ABB/Schneider) Distribution transformer shall be 6.6 KV/433 Volt and outdoor oil cooled type with low losses , High side terminal shall be suitable for Cable termination and low side terminal shall be suitable for cable termination or Busduct. Distribution transformers shall be identical and equal in rating. HT Distribution Transformer shall not run in parallel operation. On load tap changer shall be considered for all Distribution Transformer. Common 6.6 KV Panel with minimum 1 Nos. of spare feeders and common Bus PT for total panel. 6.6 KV cable shall be XLPE (E) and laid on a separate tier for cables on pipe rack. Outgoing feeders shall be provided with four poles MCCB/ACB and ACB shall be EDO type and MCCB shall be motor operated type. Below 600 Amp MCCB to be considered. Above 600 Amp ACB shall be considered As far as possible, same size of the cable shall be considered for each outgoing feeder. Vacant/spare feeder shall be provided for future expansion. APFC panel shall be considered for substation and shall be installed in substation and capacity as per transformer rating considering 0.95 lag desired power factor .0.95 to 0.99 lag power factor to compensate power factor at HT side. In PCC Panel at each block Electrical Panel room shall be Four pole ACB/MCCB suitable to control and protection from DCS. Incomer feeder shall be provided with SDC. Outgoing feeders shall be provided with four poles MCCB/ACB without DCS connectivity. Below 600 Amp SFU/MCCB to be considered. Above 600 Amp ACB shall be considered Each feeder to have DLM EM6400 suitable to communicate with DCS. As far as possible, same size of the cable shall be considered for each outgoing feeder. 14) 15) Block wise detailed load list of process equipment including utility and HVAC shall be prepared. Incomer of MCC shall be considered MCCB with microprocessor based release.
