Background
Kuantan Medical Centre (KMC) was established in late December 1997 as a community hospital to provide a comprehensive range of affordable and quality secondary medical and surgical services for adult and paediatric patients.
Location
KMC is actually located at Jalan Tun Ismail but it has moved to current location Jalan Tun Razak, Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang, on 24 November 2014.

The new building has 155 single bedded rooms and offers a comprehensive range of specialists, medical, surgical and emergency services 24 hours a day.

In giving healthcare services the department is responsive to the clients, KMC provide modern equipment, high quality and prompt nursing care and high standard of treatment by professional and trained staff.
The department of accident and emergency operates on 24 hours and 7 days a week basis.
For the radiology department, it is equipped with the latest facilities such as Bone Densitometry, CT Scan, Fluoroscopy & contrast examination, General X-Ray, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Ultrasound.
KMC has four operating theatres and each is equipped with advanced technology for patient monitoring, high technology lighting and latest anaesthetic equipment.
