Course Title: Introduction to Humanities III. Course Description: This course deals with the understanding, enjoyment and expression of feelings and ideas through the different forms of arts. It includes theories and principles of aesthetics and exposes the students to some activities essential to the appreciation of art. IV. Credit Unit: 3 units V. Pre-requisite: Humanities 110 VI. Contact Hours: 54 hours (3 hours lecture/week) VII. Course Objectives: At the end of the semester, the students shall be able to: 1. Acquire comprehensive understanding of the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the college. 2. Internalize the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the college to achieve excellence in education. 3. Develop his ability to perceive, understand and appreciate what the artist intends to put into a particular creation/work of art. 4. Develop student's creative self-expression. 5.
