SD Range launched April 2007 DM Fusion Programme launched. 4 The Dedicated Design Philosophy Technological developments pioneered by DM’s parent company, AD Group, have formed the building blocks for the success of today’s CCTV industry. Those building blocks form the core architecture of DM’s Networked Products. When you choose a DM product you buy DM’s fundamental design philosophies. NEVER STOP RECORDING The internal architecture is based on a purpose-designed, real-time, embedded core, rather than a modified PC, for maximum reliability and immunity from virus attack. Our Network Servers contain local storage to ensure that the recording process can continue uninterrupted even in the event of a network failure. SEAMLESS SCALABILITY Our latest products, based on the NetVu Connected client/server software architecture, take IP connectivity to another level, offering a truly scalable solution that encompasses integrated video capture, recording, transmission and viewing from a single user interface. NETWORK TRAFFIC ON DEMAND Network congestion is minimised by streaming video only when it is demanded by a viewing station. The use of low-bit rate codecs, such as MPEG-4, for transmission further lightens the load, making the system “IT Managerfriendly”. CUSTOMISATION The ability to customise solutions is a key element of the NetVu philosophy. Dedicated Micros offers a range of developers tools, including a comprehensive JAVA-based SDK. Since the technology is based on standard client/server protocols, you are able to call upon a wealth of commerciallyavailable development talent without having to invest in costly training programmes for proprietary packages. EVIDENTIAL QUALITY RECORDINGS All DM System products employ sophisticated digital signature technology such that the recorded images, and the associated audio and meta-data information, cannot be tampered with without detection. This level of integrity has helped secure numerous convictions in courts around the world. [ ] When you choose a DM product you buy into DM’s and AD Group’s fundamental design philosophies. Seeing the world through your eyes. 5 NetVu CONNECTED Over the last two decades Dedicated Micros have delivered a wealth of innovation and experience to the Security Industry worldwide. NETVU CONNECTED LINKS THE WORLD’S MOST SUCCESSFUL SECURITY BUSINESSES, ACROSS A DIVERSE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS, IN THE AIR, ON THE GROUND OR ON THE MOVE 2 4 6 T echnology Across the Range TransCoding The ability to customise solutions is a key element of the NetVu philosophy. Dedicated Micros offers a range of developers tools, including a comprehensive JAVA-based SDK and the PowerScript application. Since the technology is based on standard client/server protocols, you are able to call upon a wealth of commerciallyavailable development talent without having to invest in costly training programmes for proprietary packages. Dedicated Micros PowerScript application extends the functionality of NetVu Connected DVR’s allowing them to integrate into other systems. The PowerScript feature uses the C programming language to allow installers and system integrators to implement and develop scripts to enable customer specific applications to be created. Utilising PowerScript, a NetVu Connected DVR can integrate into a BMS (Building Management System) or other Security Solution (such as Access Control) to enable central control, monitoring and notification on alarm of a multitude of functions - for example humidity or temperature levels in Server rooms or Storage / Freezer rooms can be monitored via the DVR in conjunction with associated video footage from the location. All NetVu Connected products containing the unique TransCoding technology provide MPEG-4 transmission of either the recorded or live video, independent of how the video has been recorded, ensuring that remote operators can view fast update images of the best quality even over limited bandwidth links. MultiMode Recording removes the need for 'event only' or low record rates and provides 'always on’ recording without increasing storage requirements. Unique in the industry, MultiMode Recording increases the functionality and flexibility of the DVR. Whilst high resolution JPEG images can be used to capture detailed images from events – an essential requirement in the use of CCTV recordings for evidential purposes - continuous MPEG-4 motion video provides smooth background recordings that require less storage capacity than JPEG. NON-PC OPERATING SYSTEM All Dedicated Micros DVRs have an embedded, non-PC operating system. This means that the end-user will encounter none of the problems traditionally associated with PCs. The DVR won’t hang or crash and is immune from computer virus attacks even if it’s connected to a local or wide area network. REMOTE VIEWING Perhaps you want to view premises out of hours or simply wish to keep an eye on what’s going on. STANDARD DOME FEATURES The IP Dome contains all the features found in the 2040 and 2060 domes including; an impact resistant hemisphere, up to 36x optical zoom (2060 only, 18x on 2040), up to 12x digital zoom, privacy zones, a wide range of mounting options & accessories and an innovative quick release mechanism for ease of installation and maintenance. IP CCTV BUILDING BLOCK The IP Domes are part of a growing range of IP CCTV Building Blocks introduced by DM. Providing the capability to configure and stream video direct to the DVR or Server over the network, the IP Dome makes the addition of new remote cameras simple and cost effective. This is achieved by taking advantage of any existing IP infrastructure rather than installing dedicated cabling. PROFILES The IP Dome contains MultiMode profiles. MultiMode Recording removes the need for 'event only' or low record rates and provides 'always on’ recording without increasing storage requirements. Unique in the industry, MultiMode Recording increases the functionality and flexibility of the DVR. Whilst high resolution JPEG images can be used to capture detail images from events – an essential requirement in the use of CCTV recordings for evidential purposes - continuous MPEG-4 motion video provides smooth background recordings that require less storage capacity than JPEG. 44 Hardware, Lighting & Accessories Through our Dennard brand, Dedicated Micros offers a wide range of hardware accessories for domes and cameras including; IR Illuminators, Camera Housings, Pan & Tilt Heads and mounting brackets.
