This assures that the rams never obstruct the bore or interfere with the pipe in the hole.U BOP Hydraulic Control System The U blowout preventer is designed so that hydraulic pressure opens and closes the rams and provides the means for quick ram change-out. 4:1 16-3/4” 5000 psi Model B 37.6:1 3.2:1 4.6 12.0:1 1.8:1 11” 15.3:1 20-3/4” 3000 ps 14.0:1 1.7:1 13-5/8” Except 15.000 psi 24.U BOP Operating data and Fluid Requirements Bore Size and Working Pressure Gals to Open Pipe Rams (1 Set) Large Bore Shear Bonnet Operating Data and Fluid Requirements Gals to Close Locking Closing Opening Pipe Rams Screw Turns Ratio Ratio (1 Set) (Each End) Bore Size and Working Pressure 7-1/16” All WP 1.5 27 7.6 61.4 46 10.3:1 2.0:1 1.9 46 10.000 psi 5.0:1 26-3/4” 3000 ps - - - - - TC1403 17 .7 26.5:1 13-5/8” 15.7:1 21-1/4” 2000 psi 34.000 psi - - - - - 20-3/4” 3000 psi 30.8 10.9:1 2.9 18 6.4:1 4.0:1 1.1 32 15.0 54 7.0:1 21-1/4” 10.9 71.1 56.8 22.8 51 7.000 psi Gals to Open Pipe Rams (1 Set) Gals to Close Pipe Rams (1 Set) Locking Screw Turns (Each End) Closing Ratio Opening Ratio - - - - - 6.1 45 10.000 psi 20.3 45 10.3:1 13-5/8” Except 15.0:1 2.8:1 4.3:1 16-3/4” 3000 psi Model B 18.4:1 3.1 40.7 46 7.2:1 4.000 psi 5.000 psi Model B 39.000 psi 12.6 54 7.0:1 21-1/4” 10.6 22.3 113.0:1 1.000 psi Model B 10.7 41.4:1 18-3/4” 10.2:1 3.3:1 21-1/4” 2000 psi 54.6 38 6.1 38 6.0:1 4.4:1 16-3/4” 5000 psi Model B 9.2 19.000 psi 3.4 3.2:1 7-1/16” All WP - - - - - 11” Except 15.3:1 2.3 32 10.4:1 4.000 psi 21.9 51 7.2:1 4.8:1 1.7 101.000 psi 8.8 32 9.4:1 18-3/4” 10.000 psi 21.7:1 21-1/4” 5000 psi 103.2:1 7-1/16” All WP 11” Except 15.0:1 16-3/4” 3000 psi Model B 9.3 14.0:1 4.8:1 2.000 psi 68.9 27 12.6:1 13-5/8” 15.9 46 7.000 psi 33.5 5.2 45 16.4:1 4.9 13.000 psi Model B 60.8 58 7.9:1 2.6 87.1 10.7:1 13-5/8” Except 15.9 9.9 47.7 5.1 54 7.3:1 13-5/8” Except 15.000 psi - - - - - 26-3/4” 3000 psi 10.7 34.8 10.1 45 10.2 19.9 38 10.1 40.4:1 16-3/4” 10.9 72.7 32.3:1 16-3/4” 10.8:1 4.000 psi - - - - - 26-3/4” 3000 psi 38.4:1 4.1 38 6.6 38 6.0:1 16-3/4” 3000 psi Model B 37.8:1 2.5 10.4:1 16-3/4” 10.8:1 2.9 46 10.7:1 18-3/4” 10.3:1 21-1/4” 2000 psi 14.5:1 11” Except 15.8:1 1.8:1 2.000 psi - - - - - 20-3/4” 3000 psi 8.5:1 13-5/8” 15.000 psi 18.5 26.1 8.000 psi 92.000 psi Model B 16.3:1 16-3/4” 10.7:1 21-1/4” 2000 psi 9.000 psi 43.8:1 1.3 1.2:1 6.0:1 21-1/4” 5000 psi - - - - - 21-1/4” 10.8:1 2.8:1 2.2 19.0 32 15.8:1 2.7:1 18-3/4” 10.000 psi 80.000 psi 39.9 58 7.0:1 1.4:1 4.8 6.9 46 7.3 45 16.9 4.1 27 12.4 10.2:1 3.000 psi 25.2 27 7.3 30.4:1 4.3 23.0:1 21-1/4” 5000 psi - - - - - 21-1/4” 10.3 18 6.7:1 21-1/4” 5000 psi 27.2 40.0 38 10.000 psi 11.0 32 9.4 54 7.4 46 10.3:1 16-3/4” 5000 psi Model B 18.5:1 11” Except 15.3:1 16-3/4” 5000 psi Model B 68.0:1 2.8:1 1.0 16.8 32 7.7 46 7.0 32 7.000 psi 10.0:1 26-3/4” 3000 ps - - - - - U BOP Operating data and Fluid Requirements Bore Size and Working Pressure Large Bore Shear Bonnet Operating Data and Fluid Requirements Litres to Open Litres to Close Locking Closing Opening Pipe Rams Pipe Rams Screw Turns Ratio Ratio (1 Set) (1 Set) (Each End) Bore Size and Working Pressure Litres to Open Pipe Rams (1 Set) Litres to Close Pipe Rams (1 Set) Locking Screw Turns (Each End) Closing Ratio Opening Ratio 7-1/16” All WP 4.1 56.2:1 4.0 38 10.4:1 3.6:1 3.5 45 6.0 8.2:1 11” 15.3:1 20-3/4” 3000 ps 54.3 14.3 45 6.9 38 10.2:1 6.8:1 2.6 45 10.4 40.1 32.6:1 13-5/8” 15.3:1 16-3/4” 3000 psi Model B 68.9 71.2:1 11” 15.8:1 11” 15.9 32 10. 000 psi 713878 713114-10 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 11” 15. **Two required for single preventer.000 psi 713878 *** 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 16-3/4” 3000 and 5000 psi 713878 713114-13 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 16-3/4” 10.U BOP Specifications and Accessories The following specifications apply to typical Cameron U type BOPs.000 psi 713878 713114-10 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 13-5/8” 15. • Side outlets to 4-1/16” (7-1/16” on 26-3/4” BOPs) can be provided beneath each set of rams on either or both sides of U BOPs.000 psi 713878 *** 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 20-3/4” 3000 psi 713878 713114-08 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 21-1/4” 2000 psi 713878 713114-10 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 21-1/4” 5000 psi 713878 *** 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 21-1/4” 10. • Flanges conform to API standard 6A and/or 16A. four for double preventer.000 psi 713878 713114-13 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 13-5/8” 3000 and 5000 psi 713878 7959-08 8721-01 5298 6018-03 5526 13-5/8” 10. The DS shearing blind ram can cut larger diameter tubulars or multiple tubing strings regardless of their orientation to the centerline of the ram. then bend the lower section of sheared pipe to allow the rams to close and seal. A blade seal between the upper and lower faces eliminates the need for moving pipe after shearing. • The Cameron shearing blind ram has a single-piece body with an integrated cutting edge. • The single-piece body incorporates an integrated cutting edge. Shearing blind rams can be used as blind rams during normal drilling operations. • H2S SBRs are available for critical service applications and include a blade material of hardened high alloy suitable for H2S service. Features of shearing blind rams and DS rams include: • Large frontal area on the blade face seal reduces pressure on the rubber and increases service life. • Cameron SBRs can cut pipe numerous times without damage to the cutting edge.
