It's RPGish and you battle the NPC using little machines with bitbeasts called "Beyblades". There is no linking from player to player in this game. You play as the main character Tyson and can do things with him ie; walking around, picking up parts and items, customizing beyblade's, battling the different NPC beybladers in the game. But it takes a while to get it all down. -- Let it Rip??? -- (Pre Battle Power Trip) aka --The Hella Confusing Rip Sequence That Took Serenity 2 Hours To Understand-An Invisible judge is going to go "3...2...1.. LET. IT. RIP!" Now your goal is 100% Power and 100% Boost. Basically after the 1, and during the "Let it rip" part (located at the top of your screen) you press the A button til the Lancher goes up to the left most of the rip cord meter, for a 100% boost. BUT THATS NOT ALL! Once you've got the launcher on the very end of the rip cord, you then press (and hold) the A button for a 2nd Boost and let go of the A when the bar on the meter has reached its right most(Green area) which will (1)Increase your RPM, and (2) if 100% (even 95 is fine) will give your beyblade one third of his bit beast gauge power. 1/3 is all you need to summon the bitbeast for a low time attack in the match. If you can't get it right, don't give up! Keep practising and soon it will come naturally. --Inside Battle-A --Special Combos-A+B . Your damage is reduced or negated if the opponent has a defensive wall around themselves. . but won't work unless you use it at the last second. Dodge is like Jump. green and red attacks respectively. you won't be able to jump them but you can try dodging).Defend (Hold B to charge defense) -Low Defense = Blue -Medium Defense = Green -High Defense = Red L . Jump is a great way to avoid attacks you can see coming. Defending can make the opponent take damage if he bashes into you or uses a low powered attack while you have a high powered defense. but will also fade away after a few seconds. A blue attack will attack the opponent straight away A green attack will do little zig-zag movements then hit for medium damage A red attack will usually bound off the wall for momentum then hit the opponent for max damage(exception of this is when you have a collision with your opponent and your beyblades).Jump R . 2/3 or 3/3 of the circular bitbeast charge-up dial) You'll know you did Engine gear properly because your beyblade will go on fire for a moment and you'll watch your RPM fly up.Dodge Minor RPM Medium RPM and Large amount of RPM are taken off for executing the blue.Summon Bit Beast (Uses 1/3.. Use this as a last ditch effort to win as it doesn't take any RPM to execute a defense. please see the Q&A section at the bottom of this faq).Attack (Hold A to charge attack) -Low Attack = Blue -Medium Attack = Green -High Attack = Red B . Overall it's not that useful and takes too long to charge. If you have great time-reflex you could easily master dodging every single attack.Use Engine Gear (An equipment that will charge your beyblades RPM up) L+R . Your opponent can damage you while your still charging an attack. (Even if your in RED and he's in BLUE he will damage you if you haven't let go of the A button) and thereby negating everything you've charged up so you must start again. (The sudden ones he does without charging at all are the trickiest. and also gives you a great advantage in the battle if your not taking any hits with the opponents beyblade RPM higher then yours. Otherwise his attack still carries through. (Many people are still asking about this. 1 and 1/2 of the gauge then it will default back to an 1/3 attack. but not non-Dragoon. Left.Use these immediately after you've hit opponent. I tested it with my 40xp Ultimate Dragoon within other Dragoon blades and the XP crossed over to other Dragoon beyblades. UPDATE 17/06/05:I've tried his first tip(see below). It didn't work. just use the first dragoon chip you get in the game (with Dragoon Storm). 2/3 of the bit beast guage will be a medium multiple attack. Jarrod Flowers sends in a tip for those who want to use the same beyblade and but keep experience. When you sell your extra beyblades you will still keep extra parts in your collection. when switching beyblades. Jarrod Flowers sends in a tip which works around that. I notice that there's a way to keep your exp. If you releast it at for example. buy whatever beyblade you want and switch the new bit chip with your old Dragoon Storm bit chip. While my Hayate bitbeast XP wouldn't cross over to any others. but Mr. and 3/3 will be the psycho multiple attack. 24 for 2/3 and 36 for 3/3. When the shop is open. you might like to do this with your favourite bit beast and change just the outside look of your beyblade when you transfer parts around. each with a similar amount of damage you get from the red powered "A" attack. So use your personal favourite! I said the above because I didn't want to keep losing experience. --Offensive Combos -.(Serenitychan:So that you only have one left) If you want the extra parts.Medium Damage Attack Combo Right.Knock Out -I don't know much about knockout. but sometimes my beyblade. Right. But I have a theory (which you can confirm to me by emailing) that it will only work for Drigger bit beasts and Drigger blades. Example: Use Dragoon Storm in a couple of matches until Max's shop opens up. Because it's better to work with only a few rather then 50. etc. or my opponents . A . A .High Damage Attack Combo Left. When their designated beyblade loses all of it's life they won't be able to win ever again because everytime they battle their beyblades life remaining from last match remains the same (while Tai's and the AI opponents doesn't). Lol @ Atari.away into clear.=. so use that special if necessary. <3. the gauge carries over to a battle 2. Wondering why you can't .NOW! Done and still need some tips? Alrighty then. It'll do massive damage.=. It's also dangerous if you were to use a weak attack when he has a red powered defense ring around him. Don't ram into him when he has that defense wall either.=.=.=. Theres one more detail about attacking and defending. It's really fun to watch but to get that 3/3 you have to sit and take a beating practically. it seems pointless. The flare will die if you don't attack in the small time it's lit. Haha.=.=. and 3/3 will go psycho. When you attack.=. 2/3 of the bar will give you even more of those multiple barrage attacks. 3. So let's just say you won't have much replay value.. You can power up your own defensive wall too of coarse to make his hits hurt less. It appears to be a horrible bug in the game.
