It may be used as a fungicide/algicide wash base for maintenance or pre-decoration of masonry, brick, timber, plaster, paintwork, etc. It is especially effective as an algicide and slimicide in swimming pools, industrial water reservoirs and cooling towers. For disinfection formulations it is recommended to prepare a 10% solution and for surface sterilisation 1 to 10% solutions are recommended. Application rates for other uses range between 0.10 and 1.0%. More precise information regarding the concentrationrequired for specific applications can be advised or determinedby the local Thor Microbiological Technical Centre.
