WIRELESS NETWORKSPRESENTED BY P.UMAMAHESHWARI J.MONISHA PRIVTHY JEBA ABSTRACT 4G refers to the fourth generation of cellular wireless standards. It is a successor to 3G and 2G standards It's aim is to provide a wide range of data rates upto ultra broadband(GIGABIT SPEED) INTERNET SPEEDS 2.5 networks currently offer In comparison, the speed of true data speeds upto 28kbps 3G can be upto 2Mbps,i.e approximately 200 times faster than previous 2G networks 4G could bring connection speeds of upto 50 times faster than 3G networks.. BENEFITS One of the most notable advanced applications for 4G systems is location based services 4G location applications would be based on visualized virtual navigations schemes that would support a remote database containing graphical representations of streets, buildings and other physical characteristics of a large metropolitan area. VIRTUAL NAVIGATION “TELEGEOPROCESSING”,which is a combination of Geographical Information Systems (GIS),and Global Positioning Systems(GPS) working in concert over a high capacity wireless mobile systems. Telegeoprocessing over 4G networks will make it possible for the public safety community to have wireless operational functionality and specialised application for everyday operations as well as for crisis management. MEDICAL AND HEALHCARE Improved treatments through enhanced accuracy and patient compliance. Simplify overflow with integrated solutions and connected devices. Reduce treatment costs using remote therapy management. Example-Electronic patient records Real time record entry. E-pharmacy Up-to-date data at the bed side. Opportunity for less error. Greater work flow effeciency and reduction in paper work. WIRELESS IN INDUSTRIES Machine and process Machine health monitoring. Fault/failure detection Actuator/value setting Tank level/leak monitoring Stream trap monitoring monitoring. (productive maintainence). control FUTURE IN INDIA India is emerging as one of the larget market in the world for wireless. Broadband wireless communications will be a major thrust area for India. Wireless is possibly the only way forward to connect most of the six lakhs villages to internet. Integrated intelligent home systems LIMITATIONS One major limitations is operating area.Although 2G networks are becoming more ubiquitous, there are still many areas not served. The hype that is being created by 3G networks is giving the general public unrealistic expectations of always available communications. CONCLUSIONS These advances will make high speed data/voice over Internet protocol networks a reality. If all goes according to what the industry envisions,it may be sooner ratherthan later that we will see wireless communication evolve. This evolution will give the general public as well the public safety community amazing functionality. Although high speed data communications will be delivered it will not be equivalent to the wired network atleast not at first. The equipment required to implement a next generation network is still expensive. Carries and providers have to plan carefully to make sure that expenses are kept realistic. THANK YOU QUERIES??????
